About the Encyclopedia of Terrorism

The encyclopedia you are consulting now is a result of the International Conference for the Defense of Humanity, carried out in Caracas, capital city of the Venezuelan Republic; from December 2nd to 4th, 2004, and the International Conference against terrorism, for the Truth and Justice. (Havana, Cuba; June 2nd to June 4th, 2005)

It deals with terrorism promoted, financed and carried out by the North American government and its allies in our continent. It summarizes: facts, history of terrorist plans and attacks that can’t be seen as bygone, protagonist of these dark pages in the History of the Continent and victim’s testimonies and families who suffered many aggressions, daughters of a Terrorism of State, policy that the Latin American peoples have suffered for decades.

It intends to be a platform of encounter between victims, researches of the topic revolutionaries who offer life to the transformation of the Continent reality; with the commitment of being loyal to the truth, contributing to the knowledge and memories of the history of our peoples, to the understanding of the present time and the construction of the present.

It uses as technology the MediaWiki that will guarantee a permanent updating of its contents. Thanks to important studious´ collaboration, it will have multiple investigations done by groups of History books and the critic journalism about the terrorism made in the United States.
